In this session, am explained How to Enable Email Validation In OpenIDM. This means that while user registration we can validate the entered email address correct or not by sending the account activation link to entered email address then the user should open the inbox and then click on the account activation link to an active account.
If the user is given the wrong email address then the account will not be activated then the user will not be able to login into the application
If the user has given the correct email address then the user open their inbox and then click on the activation link and then the account will be activated and he can able to login into the application
To validate the email addresses, we need to enable the email validation feature in the OpenIDM.
How to Enable Email Validation In OpenIDM
Login into the OpenIDM application by the openidm-admin user and then go to Configure > Email Setting
and click Enable button.
